Strengths
The city of Struthers offers many different recreational activities to individuals of all ages. The parks alone are great for families and friends to get out and be active, whether it is playing on the playground, playing basketball, tennis, bocce, or simply going for a walk on the hiking trails. Struthers also offers local gyms for those who want to be physically active. This city provides many services such as bowling alleys, bingo nights, and festivals throughout the year for people to get together and have fun.

Weakness
The biggest weakness in the city of Struthers would be the availability of programs for the elderly and other special groups. However there are a few programs offered in Struthers for the mentally disabled like Purple Cat and for Veterans like the Veterans' Outreach, but there are very few programs for them and for the elderly. There are areas not far from Struthers that provide programs for the elderly but within the city the programs are minuscule.
